Biceps and Triceps Implants Gallery
The biceps and triceps are two prominent muscle groups located in the arms. The biceps, consisting of a long head and a short head, are situated on the front part of the upper arm and play a significant role in flexing the elbow joint. They are responsible for movements such as curling or lifting objects towards the body. On the other hand, triceps are found on the backside of the upper arm and consist of three heads – lateral, medial, and long. These muscles oppose the biceps by extending and straightening the elbow joint when pushing or pressing away from the body. Understanding how these muscles function differently within our arms is crucial for developing effective workout routines that target each muscle group accordingly.
