CoolSculpting for the Male Body

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical procedure that eliminates stubborn areas of fat. Removal of the stubborn regions of fat no longer requires needles or knives. Candidates for CoolSculpting wish to avoid the anesthesia, needles, and incisions that other surgical options include. This medical FDA-cleared breakthrough technology was created at Harvard University and is now developed by ZELTIQ Aesthetics.  After your fat freeze reduction treatment, you may resume your normal daily activities immediately. Results from CoolSculpting are identified over two to four months. On average, you’ll see a 25% fat reduction in the treated area after only one visit.

Fat Reduction and Fat Freeze with CoolSculpting for Men

How Does CoolSculpting Work?

CoolSculpting uses a unique device that utilizes the natural destruction of cells when exposed to cold temperatures. Freezing temperatures contract the targeted fat cells, which causes apoptosis, eliminating fat cells and freezing the fat.  Over three to four months, the body will consume the fat through a metabolic process. Surrounding cells, skin, tissue, muscles, and nerves are all left unharmed.  CoolSculpting studies have shown its success of 25% fat reduction occurring only after one treatment.

5 Benefits of CoolSculpting for fat reduction treatment

  1. There are no needles
  2. No Surgery
  3. No Downtime
  4. FDA Cleared
  5. Safe and Clinically proven

The Procedure

Before CoolSculpting, the surgeon will consult with the patient to determine which areas of the body fat should be removed. The entire procedure takes 1 hour. CoolSculpting is pain-free and feels much like an ice pack on your body. No anesthesia or medication is needed. The cold temperature offers a pain-reducing quality. Many patients multitask while the surgeon works, such as reading or working on their computers.

Our team will apply a gel substance to the treated area to protect the skin. Cooling panels on the device will send freezing temperatures to the underlying fat cells while suctioning the skin. The skin may become slightly pink or reddish caused by the mixture of coldness and pressure only for some time afterward, typically subsiding within a few minutes to a few hours.

Zero Downtime with CoolSculpting

Since CoolSculpting is non-invasive, there is no downtime. After the Coolsculpting procedure is completed, patients can return to work, continuing their regular routines immediately; some patients report a tender feeling in the target area, while others do not. If the area does feel sensitive, it usually goes away after 24 hours. Minor bruising may also occur but will diminish within two weeks. Some side effects, such as numbness, tingling, and bruising, are possible but will correct themselves over a few weeks.

CoolSculpting Results for Male Patients

Results for male patients typically take up to 3 weeks to be noticeable. After this time, patients will see a gradual, natural-looking improvement in the treated area. The apoptosis process can take 3 to 4 months to remove all treated cells. The patient and doctor may agree that additional treatments are necessary to enhance the results, although one treatment can yield satisfaction. Areas can retreat as soon as two months after your treatment. It is vital for patients to keep up with their new appearance; therefore, healthy eating is advised.
