Necklifts for Men LA

No one on this planet likes the idea of having a saggy jawline or a double chin. It’s a clear sign of aging. That’s why plastic surgeons around the world are starting to offer necklifts for men who want to rejuvenate their looks and reduce the extra tissue around their skin. Dr. Steinbrech has been offering necklifts for male patients for years and has been considered a thought leader in his field.

Necklifts Can Improve

A lot of male patients aren’t 100% sure whether necklifts will help them look better. If you have

any of the following issues, a necklift can help:

  • Midface sagging
  • Jowls
  • Double chins
  • “Turkey neck”
  • Excess skin from weight loss

Are You A Good Candidate for Necklifts for Men?

In order to be a candidate for necklifts for men, you will have to have certain qualities. Dr. Steinbrech notes that the ideal candidate for a necklift is someone who:

  • Is in overall good health
  • Still retains some skin elasticity
  • Is realistic about results

How A Necklift is Performed

At Dr. Steinbrech’s office, necklifts can be done with general anesthesia or IV sedation. After you are sedated, your surgeon will make incisions behind the ears, towards the scalp. Once the incisions are made, Dr. Steinbrech tightens the muscles, removes excess fat, and gets rid of excess skin.

Your Necklift Recovery

Post-surgery, you will experience some mild swelling, bruising, and redness. Bandages and (possibly) drainage tubes will be used to help bolster healing efforts. Most male patients end up having two weeks of downtime, after which they can return to work.
